  • Expansive views after a short walk, and we saw a golden eagle cruising back and forth above the cliff edge. Great info boards on birds you can see in the area. Avoid the afternoon in summer...

  • Easy walk to the overlook. Great view of the Canyon and looking down on an old homestead. Very good spot of amateur geologists.

  • This time of year we saw vultures, hawks, ravens, and other birds that live on the cliffs of the Snake River. We also saw a yellow belly marmot. It's beautiful and full of life. So worth the trip.
  • Awesome view of the canyon and river. Fun watching all the falcons and eagles up close fly by the cliffs
  • Such a peaceful and beautiful place. I saw so many hawks and falcons gliding by the cliffs. It was quiet and still.
  • What a buetiful spot to visit! Apparently not many visitors on Halloween as I was the person there. The fifth canyon to be formed by the Snake River and lava flows. The whole area is filled with piles of volcanic rock and basalt. Hope you like my pictures!
  • Nice quiet place to get away from the haze of the city
