  • Not greeted by anyone. All the goats are locked up and you cant see them unless you pay for the tour. We stopped for 5 minutes and left. They do have a nice kids playhouse and some sand toys. I don't ...  read more »
  • At first I was skeptical about Surfing Goat Dairy. No it is not on the Ocean and no the goats don't surf. The name came about for other reasons and I will leave that for a surprise. If you want a diff...  read more »
  • another commercial tourist spot. Not interesting at all. You can get their cheese in many stores on Maui. I didn't like what i tasted there anyway.
  • This is a stop for us almost every year we have visited. Great little goat farm tour and the goat cheese is not the standard strong stuff, their cheese has a very mild flavor. They also have candy/chocolate made from the goat milk/cheese too. My kids absolutely love this place and last year we did a more involved tour where we got to milk a goat, it was awesome.
  • Good place. Good tour. Good cheese. Hot, not to much shade. Happy staff, but experience was only alright. Tours do not go late.
  • Awesome place for lunch and goat cheese lovers. Pricey but deliciously worth the visit when in Maui.
  • We did the grand tour today. Thomas, the owner, explained the dairy, it's history, and making of the cheese himself. He also presided over the cheese tasting explaining each of the twenty cheeses we tried. Thomas was friendly, funny and informative it was great to meet him. The goat milking demonstration was fun and everyone that wanted to got to milk a goat. It takes more pressure then you'd think! During the herding the goats were very sweet and it was nice to give then some pets. The dairy's cat and retired herding dog hung out with us during the talks and tastings and were very friendly. This was a very pleasant and low key way to spend the morning. The cheeses were really great and generously portioned. I highly suggest this tour for anyone.
  • We love bringing the kids here to pet and play with the baby goats. Excellent goat cheese and truffles! It's a well run facility that truly cares about the animals.
