  • Lovely free tasting where you get to pick the wines from their tasting list. I had previously tried their semi-sec pineapple wine and didn't like it much but I was able to try their sweeter pineapple wine and found it much more to my taste. The grounds were nice and relaxing as well. Drive wasn't too bad as long as you are hanging out near Paia as well. Would be an excellent side-trip on the way back from a morning/early afternoon at the Haleakala summit.
  • Made a special trip out to the winery with a friend today. With great anticipation we went in to test the wine....stood at counter...no one paid me any attention. Looked around the room a bit. Tried standing at another part of the counter...no one paid me any attention. Finally got the eye of the woman behind the counter and after I said "I'd like to taste some wine" she gave me the listing. My friend joined me. Again...we stood and stood and stood watching as others were served and we were ignored. We eventually left with only a bitter taste in our mouths.
  • We got here RIGHT as they were closing for the day, and after a pot of hiking, we really needed a drink!! The lady who helped us was incredibly kind and gracious. The tasting is free, and the wines are really fantastic. We enjoyed the unique pineapple infused wines and even brought a few home! The tasting room is gorgeous and they have a lot of great little gifts (some are locally sourced) in their giftshop.
  • When we drove up here they happened to be having an art show with poor local artists show dating a piece they had painted there on the spot. The wine was ok, but I would have drank anything after that drive. The gift shop is expensive. But if you walk around outside it's kinda cute We saw the biggest coolest and creepiest spider ever outside the winery...that was definitely the highlight of our trip.
  • The staff was super friendly and the tour guide Jan was down right bubbly. Very enjoyable. Don't tour any pineapples or grapes but very informative about the process and the history of the property which is actually quite significant in Hawaiian culture. At the time 3 wine samples for free, can't taste all wines due to limited supplies.
