  • What a wonderful trip. The farm is beautiful. You'll want to stay there forever. We went on the walking tour. Our guide , Sarah, was so knowledgeable about lavender and truly passionate about the Alii Kula lavender farm. It's a great start to your up country wandering.
  • We took a guided tour of the farm and it was super informative and so much fun! It was a great way to spend the day and the views were beautiful. It was great not only seeing all the different types of lavender, but also all the different plants, flowers, and fruits growing on the farm as well! Definitely a must see when on the island!
  • I love this place! Even going when it's out of season is worth it for me. The view of the valley is amazing, the last time I went was on a misty day when you couldn't see the valley but it was still so beautiful and it made it all the more enchanting seeing the mist roll across the lavender fields. I love Kula in general the air is nice and crisp up there and it's hard to believe it's Maui at times because it's so different from the lowlands in the valley. The price for admission is 3$ but we usually pick up some caned food on the way up and get in with that. Also bring a mug to get some free lavander tea or coffee, it's quite tasty.:)
  • We came to this lavender farm after a disappointing visit to the nearby Kula Botanical Gardens. The lavender farm is far superior! A very peaceful, quiet place up on a hill. In December the lavender wasn't in bloom or very fragrant, but we enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and the views are amazing. We spent about 2 hours here. The grounds are hilly & sloped so wear comfortable shoes. They have a fun scavenger hunt for the kids which my 11 year old daughter really enjoyed. When she was finished she received 2 lavender shortbread cookies that were very good. The gift shop is nice, and offered lavender pastry & tea samples. Worth the very small fee.
  • It's a small place, with a little gift shop. We stopped by when we were in up country maui for the day. It's just a few bucks to get in. You can casually walk the grounds. Beautiful lavender everywhere, and a lot of other tropical gardens to walk about..it was a relaxing place to check out. Lavender scones were awesome.
