  • Very nice place. The staff was very nice! Really neat place to go. The beer was so good. The prices are really good for souvenirs!  more »
  • So, the crazy part is you can only have 2 beers as that is rule. But those 2 beers are going to be outstanding. Local microbrewery. Great fun to walk through it and see their operation and talk to the...  more »
  • This is not a pub, per se. This is a brewery, which is why it closes at 7 PM. Ben, the owner, welcomes you bringing food in, though. A great place to get a feel for the community. Located right downto...  more »

  • Cool place to throw down a couple of cold ones and socialize. Definitely a must do.
  • Amazing place. Great atmosphere with wood fireplace, art on the walls, and dogs just enjoying themselves. Great selection of microbrews depending on the season. Bartenders are friendly and happy to answer any questions you have as a visitor.
  • Fantastic setting. Very inviting and people bring their dogs. Great venue. Beers are good. Some have a similar aftertaste. The occasional beer is fantastic. They gave me a awesome brewery tour one day. They treat their customers great.
  • Great beer, selection, and service. They're in my top three for breweries. Kodiak Island Brewery is a brewery that skillfully explores new and unique brews, on top of having a well rounded selection of common styles. Coming from brewery rich Colorado, it's always refreshing to find a brewery that doesn't build themselves completely on only having 20 different types of IPA's as to hide a lack of originality and flavor behind a high IBU. Mind you, Kodiak Island does have IPA's and other beers to provide the high IBU for hop heads, but those beers all still included delightful flavors and aftertaste in conjunction with the bitterness. None of their beers tasted watered down or boring, and I couldn't find one there I didn't like, as hard as I tried. In short, if you go to Kodiak and you like beer: don't skip this place. You'll be glad you went. My only qualm is that they only distribute on the island of Kodiak, leaving the rest of us high and dry until we revisit.
  • wretched swill imbibed by the same pretentious try-hards that "brew" it.
