Recently in Knoxville, so stopped in town to look around. This is a funky pedestrian area full of shops and restaurants. Very fun. Don't miss the Visitors Center on the other side of the TVA building.
We very much enjoyed spending the afternoon in Market square. Several cute shops to check out. Everyone was so friendly.
We had a bit of time to kill and found this to be a great way to stretch our legs, get a bite to eat and see some quaint little shops. Someone was even playing guitar and singing in the park!
What a fabulous farmers market. It was filled with booths of all kinds. From artisan breads, fresh produce, hand crafted jewelry, goat milk soap and so much more. It was wonderful to be in market square. There were so many shops and restaurants with an urban trendy style. I loved my experience there. There was even a water feature for the kids to cool off in.
Love going there. Always something going on. Great atmosphere. Would live down there if I could afford it. Great place to be any night if the week.
Great atmosphere and community space. What can you say, this is a top Knoxville attraction. Don't miss the farmers market, fountains in the summer and skating in the winter. The programming is so diverse, jazz, movies, Shakespeare, gospel, and many festivals. Check scheduled events!
