    This is a great park to do walking, play on the play ground with kids, or utilize the abundant open spaces for playing all sorts of sports. The views of the river are wonderful too.

    There are several walking paths that share the way with bicycles. Part of the park is on a body of water and there are always interesting sights to see. Of course, they charge with the weather. We....  more

    Great walk. Park has a good mix of open space and tree cover. It has a small portion by the river that is nice and a good view from the top of the hill. It's a decently big in general with playgrounds and fields, and you don't have to drive out of the city to get there. but ultimately it could be nicer and needs a little updating/maintenance. There are many more modern parks around the city.

    Our retired nurse group meets monthly and Lakeshore is our favorite picnic spot. Paradise in all seasons.

    We love this park. Two mile circular greenway right by the river with beautiful views. Great ball fields and playgrounds. Beautiful all year round!
