  • Our first visit to this museum but not our last. It is smallish but a good hour esp if the temp section is good. Parking is good and free as is the entrance. Staff is helpful and friendly.  more »

  • Lovely exhibits of many styles, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and very nice little gift shop. Parking is a bit limited, and on busy days you may need to resort to parking in one of the nearby garages or the lot beneath the overpass, but the museum is certainly worth the small inconvenience. This was one of the places my girlfriend and I visited on our first date, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. Given that it has no absolutely no admission fee, you'd be depriving yourself if you didn't visit at least once, and if you enjoy it, I'd recommend donating to the museum to support such a beautiful cultural beacon at the heart of the city.
  • This is a free museum, but it's still well maintained. The permanent collections were nice, and I liked the collection that featured artists from the region. The lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable, and she informed us about the entire museum before we set off to explore. I highly recommend this as a stop if you're visiting Knoxville.
  • Attended a children's event. So much to do and well planned! Loved walking through the displays. It was nice to see so many volunteers involved. Can't wait to go back.
  • I love the museum. It is a wonderful place to go on a date or by yourself for FREE! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend visiting here.
  • The kids and I went to different times and it was okay. It was free however I guess I kind of expected more there for activities. But it's definitely worth going to at least once. The museum itself is very nice
