  • This is a great free place to go. The art is impressive, and it can be done quickly. The outdoor areas are nice to walk around in, and the gift shop is quite neat.  more »
  • Check their website -- some impressive special exhibits. I drive 50+ miles for their special showings. Love their permanent exhibits too, especially the glass works. Oh, and don't miss the gift shop -...  more »

  • Had a wonderful tour with Aliance Francaise de Knoxville
  • Great free place to go they have some awesome exhibits and art
  • I have lived in Knoxville for a while now and didn't realize how much I was missing. Knoxville's art museum is beautifully laid out and filled with lots of really great art.
  • It's been several years since I was last at the museum and they have continued to grow. Some if the new permanent art in the common spaces is spectacular. An incredible quality of art for a free museum and a wonderful place to get out of the heat just a short walk from the heart of downtown.
  • A wonderful addition to this city. The Director has made everyone welcome, and the curatorial staff and educational programs have done a great job in promoting art in Knoxville, and honoring it's art history. I love it.
