  • Upfront: We visited on a Sunday and apparently they aren't open. We didn't get to go in or have the guided tour etc. So I can't speak to those things. The "fort" is a rebuilt (reimagined?) historical/...  more »
  • Nice visit, was given a outline to read as I went from building to building which let me set my pace. I was impressed that 2 of the original buildings were still standing after all these years with a ...  more »
  • Fort??? Not sure why we had to pay $7 for each adult and $5 for kids. It may have taken a whole 20 minutes to view a few old buildings. Left still looking for a fort.  more »

  • This was so cool. A tiny little fort in the middle of the city. They had people in period dress, things displayed and the kids loved it.
  • Not bad but would like to see it in better shape.
  • Glad this historical site is still here almost smack dab in the middle of downtown. It's a very nice walk from Gay St. to visit the fort.
  • SMH, however give it a visit. You might learn something new.
  • Cool place!
