  • Wonderful little gem. One of the first houses built in what is now Tennessee. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the property and its history. Tours take roughly 45 minutes to an hour, and the staff are always more than happy to find an answer to any question you have if they don't know already. Vintage baseball games played with rules from the 1860s are played on the grounds most weekends as well, which are always interesting to see. Highly recommend!
  • Awesome tour, off the beaten path but worth the drive.
  • Went for the season end Christmas Candle Light tour. House is well and authentically maintained, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. This event has a large number of visitors, and the staff coordinated that well.
  • We stumbled upon this historic site by random search on our iphone while passing through TN. This was an amazing place to visit and our delightful tour guide was very informative sharing many stories from the Ramsey family. It is most likely that the Ramsey family and our Bryan Family were friends with the same gentleman, Rev. James McGready during the turn of 1800. Just imagine discovering that over 215 years later!
  • So perfect for when you have a large groip5
