  • A great review of the history of this area from the Indian's who originally lived here through the civil war, the TVA project and the world's fair in 1982.
  • 一个当地的历史博物馆,很小。星期天免费。平时大人伍美元。对于了解当地的历史还是有点帮助的。在这小地方有空可以去看看。
  • Spent an hour walking through museum but, you need to stay for 2 or 3 hours to see everything thoroughly. Very good collection of historical items and displays from east Tennessee history. Each displa...  more »

  • An excellent presentation of Eastern Tennessean history. The displays were engaging and used varied methods to engage viewers. I very much liked the curation and use of personal stories to depict the region's history to the current age. Definitely well worth the time for a visit.
  • I've been to a number of museums and this is one of the more interactive and enhancing places. The use of colorful displays and interactive opportunities makes it engaging for people of all ages.
  • It is fun when u get to know about the past it makes me feel appreciative about how we live today
  • This place was way cool. I'm not an ET native, but I've lived here over 10 years. I've learned quite a bit about this area over that time, but this taught me so much more. You will not regret the few bucks that it costs to enter. Remember that you can also visit an extension of the Knox county library and archives in the same building.
  • Great place for people interested in history and music
