This has a lot of different things here The music side was interesting, the rest was standard stuff from Tennessee as opposed to some where else.
The Center has wonderful exhibits and offers a wide variety of great programming. Definitely a good spot to hit if you want to learn what makes east Tennessee special.
I've been to a number of museums and this is one of the more interactive and enhancing places. The use of colorful displays and interactive opportunities makes it engaging for people of all ages.
This place was way cool. I'm not an ET native, but I've lived here over 10 years. I've learned quite a bit about this area over that time, but this taught me so much more. You will not regret the few bucks that it costs to enter. Remember that you can also visit an extension of the Knox county library and archives in the same building.
If you are a family history buff, or even local history buff this place is for you. Its full of information, periodicals, books, and so much more.
Nice displays and artwork. A ton of reading. Cheap admission. Meter parking. Nice historic area downtown.
Free admission on Sunday. Very pleasant staff. Gift shop has the most reasonable prices I've ever seen at any museum.
