  • impressive for its size but still a small museum. Worth the stop if you are downtown in Knoxville. The people were very nice and it is a great spot to slow down on a hot day and learn a little history...  more »

  • An excellent presentation of Eastern Tennessean history. The displays were engaging and used varied methods to engage viewers. I very much liked the curation and use of personal stories to depict the region's history to the current age. Definitely well worth the time for a visit.
  • I've been to a number of museums and this is one of the more interactive and enhancing places. The use of colorful displays and interactive opportunities makes it engaging for people of all ages.
  • It is fun when u get to know about the past it makes me feel appreciative about how we live today
  • This place was way cool. I'm not an ET native, but I've lived here over 10 years. I've learned quite a bit about this area over that time, but this taught me so much more. You will not regret the few bucks that it costs to enter. Remember that you can also visit an extension of the Knox county library and archives in the same building.
  • Great place for people interested in history and music
