  • I couldn't believe sheer volume of regional history information available at this place. The building houses more than one history related group so it's like one stop shopping! All the information is FREE and people that work here are glad to help you in your searches. It's in a beautifully restored area of downtown Knoxville with restaurants and parking available.
  • Not particularly fond of my kid hearing cuss words on the video that was shown in the cabin. Kids repeat stuff, you know. Other than that, it was a great museum.
  • Clean and well kept exhibits. Public viewing area is smaller than expected.
  • Nice and well kept exhibits. Interesting and educational experience. Smaller than expected
  • An excellent presentation of Eastern Tennessean history. The displays were engaging and used varied methods to engage viewers. I very much liked the curation and use of personal stories to depict the region's history to the current age. Definitely well worth the time for a visit.
