  • The month of March when the Snow Goose and Tundra Swan migration impacts this area heavily is one of the most beautiful sights to see. Over a hundred thousand white geese explode into the air at any given moment creating a vortex of birds and a deafening sound of wings and honks. There is a visitor center and wildlife drive that opens March 1st weather permitting. This is an Audubon Hot Spot for bird watchers.
  • A green gem tucked away in the country. The Conservation Trail is great for a short hike, with a range of environments and plentiful wildlife. Exactly the sort of place and programs PA needs to educate and entertain its citizens.
  • I highly recommend that you take the time to go here at least once, it beautiful. Call the park first the number is listed here. They can tall you how many birds are there etc.
  • Quiet and secluded with great hiking trails and nice scenery.
  • Hunting- good deer hunting. Non hunters should wear orange, hunters do!
