  • This s a very cute museum with a friendly staff. It is well organized so children can enjoy a variety of interactive activities.

  • Lots of fun activities for kids. Great for rainy days or sunburned days. The science experiments on Thursdays are fun. Great variety of age appropriate things.
  • Getting ready to pack the kids up for our umpteenth trip to the Children's Museum. We have been members for a year and a half now. I always budget at least two hours for this outing, even though the kids could stay there playing forever. The toddlers favorite areas are the full size fishing boat. Where he can climb all over and pretend fish off the back for local species. The grocery store where they can "purchase" different examples of healthy foods with the mini carts and then prepare them in the pretend kitchen. His absolute favorite is the train table. We sit at that for at least an hour playing with the choo-choos. My older child (7 years old) loves the top room with legos and building toys. She disappears up there for the majority of the time. There is a lot of fun stuff to do and my best recommendation is to get in there, let your kids lead you around and spend some quality time playing with them. Its an entire space dedicated to children and letting them explore their curiosity. One warning: rainy days during the summer can be very busy, don't expect it to be quiet but then again children's play rarely is.
  • We wasted 24.00 walked in and stayed a total of 2min then walked out. Way too small, all one level not safe for the number of kids in there. felt like we were on a ferry going to the magic kingdom. . We have been to children museums in oak ridge TN, Lexington KY, and Charleston SC, this by far was not what we expected. Please don't waste your time or money.
