  • That phrase came out of all our mouths simultaneously when we walked into When Pigs Fly. The aroma was out of this world and the selection of breads is amazing. But you have to try the bread pudding.....  more »
  • This is a fun bread store, which is an unusual concept. It has a variety of healthy, wholesome breads plus a bunch of fun stuff as well: cookies, rolls, Thanksgiving-leftover-sandwich-bread (stuffing ...  more »
  • We bought several loaves of bread here and wish we had bought more. The low carb whole wheat bread is perfect for a diabetic family member, tastes great and is healthy. The apple cinnamon is delicious...  more »

  • First time there yesterday, and could not wait to go. I have seen this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet, so I figured we were safe. The bartender was nice, although he looked a little scared, and the girls behind him doing the running, looked and acted like that was the last place they wanted to be!! The Korean Wings were AMAZING, the Spicy Sausage and Mushroom pizza was nothing special. It was lacking a great deal of cheese (like it had hardly any) and they had so much arugula on top, that we thought we were eating a salad. It wasn't cooked into the pizza either, just placed on top, so every time you picked up a slice it fell off. However, watching the other food being delivered (the sandwiches and burger) to tables did look good. I would try it one more time and maybe get one of their sandwiches or burgers (that "looked" yummy) The crust on the pizza however, was pretty good. We went next door to buy some bread, which they have all out in the open for people to sneeze and cough on. I couldn't bring myself to buy any, especially seeing how many people were in there walking around wiping there nose on their hands and sneezing and coughing.
  • We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Our waitress was amazing and went above and beyond . We had an arugula salad garden salad and the bread.plate to start. Followed by three great pizzas. One white ...one spicy sausage the other was half meatball half Margarita. Delish!!!!
  • Stopped at this place by accident. Started in the store and found an awesome selection of breads that I could not resist. I decided to stay for lunch. The beer selection is so large it's almost overwhelming! I went with the pressed pork sandwich and I must say that it was excellent! They used fresh bread for the sandwich and it was delicious. I ended up skipping dinner that night because I was still full from lunch. Service was decent, restaurant was clean, the chair was a little uncomfortable, but if I am ever in the area I will be back! I also plan on ordering bread online and having it shipped to me!
  • Great and friendly staffing . So many great beers on tap and so much great food to choose from. We order two different pizza and wanted to try all of them after our first bite. Definitely a must for lunch or dinner while in the area. We will be stopping here on ever trip to kittery
  • I've tried many other wood fired pizza restaurants and the pizza here is among the best. What I really like about the pizza is that it never comes out burnt or sooty. It is surprising how many other wood fired restaurants can't get this essential part of the pizza right. The bread here is also delicious. Much more variety than what you can find at whole foods or the Somerville location.
