  • I looked up things to do in Kissimmee before we left because this time around we were trying to avoid crowds and do more "natural" things. When I saw there was a small lighthouse here, I was...  more »
  • An additional, important and appreciated, aspect of this park is that it is wheelchair accessible from the ends and the sides!!! NOTE: The term "breakwater" on the warning sign apparently refers.....  more »
  • This park is so far one of my favorites. Lush trees in the center of park. You have a Community Center for wedding celebration, quinceaneros but must call the city for rental. Through out the park.....  more »
  • This place is Pokemon heaven in Kissimmee. Went there just for an hour and saw about 100 people playing in a small park. On too of that the park is very cute looking. There is a lighthouse you can walk to that makes for a cute date
  • This place is huge and it's great place to come for your kid(s) to come play. Both ends of the parks are well adequate for large number of people. But we like it when there's a few people and could enjoy not being in anyone's way. The playground are awesome. It could use some sprucing to maintain how some structure are showing it's age. There's also great things to learn about history and states. One thing I do liked is that they built in memory of the Death March in Bataan, Philippines.
  • I know they redid it a while ago, But this place is beautiful now. Get for picnics. Or just a nice walk.
  • This place is lively and friendly. There is always someone having a party in the park by the lake and that is an amazing idea. The views are wonderful. Now and then you get to see a crocodile swimming in the lake.
  • I have been going to this park for 30 years and it has aged like fine wine. The actual playground is fantastic. I'm a grown woman and had a great time on it. I really appreciate the canopies that keep the equipment from getting scolding hot. There is also a cute little splash pad to cool off. There's lots for the kids to do and wide open fields to run that energy out. If you don't have children, I would still recommend checking this place out. The lake is beautiful: so much wildlife and a quiet walkway around the outskirts. Really good fishing spots! Downtown shops and restaurants are within a short drive, or walking distance If you're ambitious.
