  • This huge park is a gem, full of special plants. Be prepared to walk a long distance. Take a lot of photos. The woods.  more »
  • I first went to the Arboretum about sixty years ago. It keeps getting better and better. The emergent tower and canopy walk are indeed great additions, but simply spending time on in the tranquility o...  more »
  • What a relaxing, educational setting for a walk in nature!! The tower provides fantastic view above the trees! Make sure you get there more than once and in a different season to get a different view ...  more »
  • The whole experience was overall a 4 star. The views were awesome, although it would be more uneventful than when I went if you go outside of Fall. The leaves color was amazing and the fog that was over the tree tops was breathtaking. If you go anytime other than mid to late October it might be anti-climactic. Having said that, it would be an awesome place to take kids and the family if you want a nice afternoon in nature! I have that being from Colorado, this place was still pretty awesome to see.
  • LOVE this place! It's a drive if you're coming from the west side of Cleveland, but it's worth it. If you're going for the butterfly garden, be sure to go when it's warm and sunny. The grounds are great and you could spend all day there!
  • Marvelous place. You get groomed gardens an plant collections and wild forest areas. The new canopy walk and observation tower (separate admission) are worth visiting Good for hikes, visiting, education, running around with kids, nature, birding, etc. This is a gem of a place.
  • Really good place for a day with the kids. It was nuclear hot the day we were there so we didn't last long but we plan on coming back in the fall for a full day. Utilize the picnic area and charcoal grills. Highly recommend the canopy tower... sways in the wind a bit so yeah, exciting.
  • This place is as close to heaven on earth as it gets. They just opened the canopy walk and the watch tower. Doing both of these does cost extra but are totally worth it. I would recommend going early to give yourself enough time to see all the stuff. It is absolutely gorgeous. They do an amazing job keeping up with the landscaping. Pets are allowed on the trails but not on the tower or canopy walk. They have a shuttle type thing that you can ride around on this modified golf cart and see everything.
