  • One of the best parks in Kirkland. It's got it all. Water, beach, boats, ice cream, shade, sun, gazebo. There are concerts for kids and adults in the summer and many seasonal festivals.
  • I have eaten on the Kirkland water front multiple times but had never visited Marina Park. I had some extra time and walked along the park and it was a very relaxing but exciting experience. There was...  read more »

  • a great waterfront view of DT Seattle and Queen Anne. parking is paid after 4:00PM I believe. Farmers markets on Wednesdays and stand up paddleboard rentals most days that i've been there. Plenty of picnic tables if you want to bring some food and enjoy the view. it's pretty busy in the evenings and lunch time, lot's of locals will bring their kids to hang out and lay in the grass. stones throw to a few different bars (favorite is flatstick just on the other side of the parking lot). get's very busy for 4th of July as the marina puts out a barge and does a show. you can also see the space needle's show in the distance and partial view of Bellevue parks!
  • This is a scenic park with limited parking. They have numerous activities at this beach and during these activities the parking is even more limiting. The beach is small but pretty and has a boat launch next to it. There is a charge for the boat launch. A Boat Launch Access Card is required for use of the Marina Park boat ramp from April 1st through October 31st. Use of the ramp is free from November 1st through March 31st. If there is no parking then the drive through the area is nice also.
  • Great little Marina in downtown Kirkland. We have lived in this area for years and have enjoyed this park pre-k (pre kids). Now that we have children, we go to the Marina during Community events. We watched the Kirkland City 4th of July fireworks from this Marina (this is the most popular spot to watch them from), and could see 3 other displays at the same time. The Marina Pavilion features a concert series for most of the Summer. The large grassy area is great for blankets, picnic chairs, coolers. There are several docks, and a smaller boat launch. Small public restrooms, picnic benches, and sitting areas along the sidewalk. I wouldn't say this is a beach for swimming, but the children seem to enjoy the small shoreline and watching the ducks that sometimes swim by.
  • Great lil park in the packed shopping district behind it. Great view of the water. Not alot of sand but I still saw children playing in it. I enjoyed sitting down with my coffee and getting school work done in the calm outside environment.
  • Marina Park is a hidden treasure. It has a soft sandy beach for playing in the water, a large picnic pavilion, public artwork, close proximity to great restaurants and shops, and a public restroom. Occasionally you'll find a local producers market set up in the grassy areas. Free parking is hard to find, and paid parking fills up. Park nearby and walk into the downtown area if you can.
