  • This is a lovely park on Lake Washington with good views of Seattle. People watching is fun. There are restaurants and art galleries nearby.
  • Marina Park is what remains of the historic ferry terminal, where Kirklanders would catch the ferry into Seattle from the sleepy, undeveloped "Eastside," in the era before floating bridges. Despite ex...  more »
  • The whole waterfront is just a nice simple place to stop and stare at boats and water. If you are in a drought, this will cure your need for blue shining water, and parking is nearby, with lots of sho...  more »
  • This is a scenic park with limited parking. They have numerous activities at this beach and during these activities the parking is even more limiting. The beach is small but pretty and has a boat launch next to it. There is a charge for the boat launch. A Boat Launch Access Card is required for use of the Marina Park boat ramp from April 1st through October 31st. Use of the ramp is free from November 1st through March 31st. If there is no parking then the drive through the area is nice also.
  • Marina Park is a hidden treasure. It has a soft sandy beach for playing in the water, a large picnic pavilion, public artwork, close proximity to great restaurants and shops, and a public restroom. Occasionally you'll find a local producers market set up in the grassy areas. Free parking is hard to find, and paid parking fills up. Park nearby and walk into the downtown area if you can.
  • Nice waterfront park and marina. A bit small and can be crowded in summer, but near lots of coffee shops and great food.
  • A good place to play Pokemon Go, apparently. Nice view of the lake, some places to sit, and occasionally come fun events. Not overly large though.
  • Great place to walk through in the evening. Walking out on the docks is fun.
