  • Juanita beach is great for all ages. The playground is fun as well as the big sandy beach. The water in the swim area is very shallow so is good for the little ones. There is a swim dock in the deep e...  read more »
  • A smallish mostly uninteresting park offering boardwalk views of the eastern part of Juanita bay. The green space is fairly open and well maintained; a fairly clean restroom is located near the parking lot and plenty of memorial benches are located throughout. The open spaces are located on awkward hilly terrain so the park is not ideal for groups hoping to get some sport in. Unfortunately, the elevation gain is not sufficient to overcome the foliage by the water so there isn't really a place to sit on the grass by the water and enjoy the lake/bay. Perhaps more suited to the walking and running types, one rather unique part of this park is the long stretch of old market street that forms a trail parallel to the newer busy bypass. The trail is exposed but offers plenty of bench space to catch a cool breeze and an unrestricted view of the bay.
  • a fairly long trail with a lot of piers to go out into the bay and enjoy the water. A lot of lily pads this time of year and a lot of signs telling about the local wildlife. **warning** piers are made of wood and can get slippery when wet! learned by first hand experience...this park also easily connects with Juanita beach park by a short stroll on a sidewalk. it is very peaceful here on weekday afternoons and when you get hungry, Spuds is down the street! parking lot is kind of small here, but if it runs out, you can always go to Juanita beach park and walk over to the bay. if you play Pokemon GO, there a lot of pokestops along the path heading towards Juanita beach park.
  • Love this park in our area. Easy access, good parking and plenty of options to swim, paddle, play, walk, read, rest or just visit. Butts up to the nature walk area too. Would like to see the bathrooms updated and with extended open hours for my stops during a run. Other than that....kudos to the city, good revamp a couple years ago.
  • It's a perfect escape from noisy city. The bird watching platform provides a great view.
  • They've left the grass to grow long as a sort of experiment, but the park is well maintained. The view of the water from the boardwalks is great :)
