  • I recently visited Daisy State Park on a nice, warm, sunny Fall day. The park is quite a distance southwest of Hot Springs on US 70. I liked the views of Lake Greeson. The lake is surrounded by steep,...  more »
  • This is a nice statepark. The sites 1-31 ate steep. Not a lot of water access, but this place is nice, clean, and the staff is very very nice! They have a little visitors center were you can get info ...  more »
  • We stayed here for two nights in our small RV. The sites were mainly lake view, and were well kept and clean. We rented a kayak from the visitor center, which is staffed by the friendliest folks! The ...  more »

  • Hands down - the best park I have ever been to. I don't know if it was because the park employees/Ranger were ever present to help or if it because the people camping in section B were just so respectful and kind. We were traveling from Texas to Indiana, and I chose this park because of the lake. We kayak, and it looked like a great lake for that. The water was amazing!. The lake was clear and clean. We enjoyed the smooth calm water on our sunrise and sunset paddles. The big boats had plenty of room to play, and the fishermen had bunches of places to fish. The camping spaces were great. I was in #43 and had a BUNCH of room between me and my neighbors. We go to bed early, and were never disturbed by loud voices or barking dogs. All the campers were extremely respectful. I just can't believe how nice my Labor Day weekend was at Daisy State Park. The Google Map guy has been there. You can see every camping spot with him. If I lived closer, I'd be back.
  • Beautiful Scenery, Great Location! Tent camping in lots providing electric is a little too crowded in my opinion, most are not on level ground and it is a little noisy. Primitive camping lots however have much more level lots and are more spread out and much quieter. Facilities on site are relatively clean, however, showers can be frustrating in regards to the hot & cold water. The facilities do not have Heat or Air in them, however most camp grounds do not offer that either.
  • I had a great experience camping at Daisy State Park. Very clean campsites and bath rooms. Beautiful and Scenic views. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We stayed at campsite 73 as recommended by one of staff during reservation and it lived up to her recommendation. It was the best campsite in the park with very beautiful views of Lake Greeson. Will definitely visit again!
  • My family has gone to this lake and park for for over 45 years and myself, 27 years and counting. The park is beatiful, deer wandering around, trails to ride, a park for kids, full hookup sites, and gorgeous views of the lake. For many years we stayed on A and B point which have the best views of the lake but have recently been staying back on E which has more flat areas that are better for people that have trouble climbing up and down the hills to and from the water/boat. Either choice you can't go wrong by staying here, I promise!
  • Beautiful park with super clean bathrooms. This is a gem of a park to camp at if your going to the Diamond Crater.
