  • King Ranch is broken into four main areas that are not all connected. We visited the Norias portion on a guided bus tour. You must book a tour in order to visit the ranch. The descendants of Richard K...  more »
  • The King Ranch really impacted ranching worldwide not just in Texas. If you like birding and wildlife you'll want to allow time for extra tours. A nice outing for everyone.
  • The Museum is in the town of Kingsville. Unless you are arranging a guided tour, this is not the place to be. There is a small gift shop, however.

  • Great for learning about the history of South Texas ranching.
  • Interesting history and impressive ongoing business
  • The ranch itself was great but the tour guide/bus driver was awful. People were sleeping on the bus and she kept repeating herself. Dull dull dull.
  • Last fall (2013) I purchased an expensive saddle rack, had it shipped to CA for christmas for my brother in law and he opened it and it was wrecked from shipping, someone obviously dropped it. I called King Ranch and they said they would take care of it. I have now called three times, emailed several more times and still have not gotten a response other than 'were checking on it sir'. Their customer service is down right a lie and fabrication, ineffectual, and no one should purchase products from them as they cannot provide even the most resolution action. The President of the organization should be fired for not providing adequate resources, management systems, qualified staff to resolve issues clearly created by those they hired and used for shipping, customer service and quality control. I do not often choose such a course of action but they have left me no choice but to shame them into action. This is the first of several other social media posts that will reflect their lack of senior management capability. Certainly not a Texas business worth considering, King Ranch.
  • This was a great place to stop and visit.
