  • We had tried the Pecan beer and really enjoyed it, so on a vacation we made a point to stop in, somewhat out of our way, during open hours posted on the website, and were completely ignored. It is a small brewery, I get that, and it appeared that they had some type of event thay they were setting up for perhaps, but we saw over 10 people working, some cleaning around us, some gathered behind the bar. Had it been closed it would have been nice to have been told that, we were looking at some items for purchase, hats , t-shirts etc, and no-one said hello, were not open, can I help you, nothing. Very dispointed, if you are local it seems from others that it may be a nice place to visit, but dont waste your time or gas to come here if its out if your way. Definately the worst experience I have ever had at a brewery, or any business actually. they really didn't want our business, was very apparent. Guess we'll have to find a new southern beer, too bad.
  • Always a good variety of good beers. Owners and staff are friendly and always seem genuinely happy to see you. First Fridays are great community events.
  • Was told to "stand by the bar" and then ignored for 20 minutes. No one ever offered to help us or even speak to us the entire time. Even when they saw we were fed up with the wait and leaving no one even spoke to us on our way out.
  • Absolutely love this beer and these people! I have never met people who work so hard for not only their business but their community! So many things on the Horizon... Can't wait to see... and taste! Cheers!
  • My wife and I visited the brewery in Kiln on a Thursday afternoon. It had been referred to us by a friend and we had tried their beer before the brewery tour. Lazy Magnolia makes and serves great beers from an expanding manufacturing building and warehouse. The employees are gracious and the owner came out to greet visitors. The bartenders and hosts are generous and also are able to answer questions about the brewing process. Once the employees found out that we were on our honeymoon, they sent us home with a case of Southern Pecan & Jefferson Stout. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the Lazy Magnolia.
