  • We spent time at Mallory Square today to watch the sunset. If you have never visited Key West I advise any first time visitor to spend one day viewing the beautiful sunset and the take in the "atmosph...  more »
  • A vast variety of merchandise from the low prices of souvenirs to coral and crystal. If you can't find a souvenir or keepsake here, you just aren't looking hard enough,
  • Mallory Square has numerous attractions to choose from. Make sure you go on pier for sunset view over the water and get there 45 minutes before minimum.

  • Stunning sunset. Exceeded expectations. Visited during the poker run. The streets in the area were closed off for vendors. Was a splendor of colors and sounds. Entertainment galore and full house almost everywhere all afternoon. Enjoyed our visit to key West, especially the amazing sunset and marina area of Mallory square.
  • Had a great time here watching the sunset where the community gathers. Street performers show up around this time to add to the fun. Got the chance to get to know the locals and other travelers too.
  • Is rightfully famous for its' stunning and "take-your-breath-away" sunsets, where I highly recommend you get yourself a cocktail (after checking what time sunset starts) and position yourself anywhere near the the edge of the pier to cheer the sun as it sets down. Then, walk around in and about the square which at the edge are full of booths where you can schedule events/activities, and tons of well rated restaurants. The spot is definitely the place where you can celebrate sunsets with other sun worshipers.
  • Lived there. At first exciting, but after awhile very boring and confining. You feel like your stuck at the end of the world. People that live there are not the friendliest. A lot of homeless that live on the beach during the day. They come there to escape the frigid winters up north. Key West is not the classiest place or prettiest. Suggest to visit but not to live. Do miss the option to go on either side to experience the Atlantic or the gulf. Now live in Venice Florida, love it! Been here for 7 years. Just a general review of all of key west. The sunset is beautiful! Other side is the sunrise.
  • A 'must see' for spectacular sunsets with sailboats gliding by in silhouette as the crowd cheers ! Vendors supply many unique crafts, art, jewelry along with food carts. It's a "local thing" !!!
