(4.8/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Tropical plants and colorful, exotic flowers line the patios and walkways of Key West Garden Club. The club operates on a non-profit basis, with all the plants in the gardens donated and maintained by volunteers and members. The club sits on the historical grounds of a Civil War fort, and aims to educate visitors on the topic of tropical gardening. Delicate furniture fills the patios, and white gazebos dot the seafront landscape, making it a scenic spot and popular venue for wedding photographs. • I love the gardens and the interesting flora. We spend 30 minutes but you could spend hours. There are so many interesting and beautiful plants. We went in November so there were not too many flowers
  • Well loved by the Key West Garden Club. I spent the better part of an afternoon there. It was so interesting to see the history behind the West Martello Fort.

  • Some beautiful and interesting┬áplants, quiets spots to sit and relax and some great views of the beach. *****
  • Beautiful gardens within an old weathered fort. Great for pictures. Donations are accepted, although the attraction has been free of charge for years.
  • This is a great little place to add to your day. Admission is free, however the club does rely on donations. Once inside it was nice to enjoy to stroll around and enjoy the gardens. Being so close to the water, there was a nice breeze flowing through the shady gardens, which provides a nice place to cool down on a hot day.
  • Absolutely peaceful experience Definitely a place to see
  • Nice place to take pictures, and take a break
