  • Do once if you have not. Great place to take a photo op but once you have, move on. There are so many things to do, places to see and experiences to have on the island.
  • With a really nice guide who really showed how it was in the old days, as well as an insight to how it is today, I learned about the history of the town and some intresting toughts from a local. 3 Hours went by like nothing, and you get to sit in an old (and new) firetruck! Might not be perfect for a very young child but if you want to visit, there is some toys for the little ones as well.
  • This is a gem of key west! We had a private tour with retired Cheif Carlo. He shared more history of the island than the other tours we went on. He also had a plethora of information on the development of fire rescue gear, attack tactics, and water storage. This stop is kid friendly and they have 2 for trucks to sit on.
  • We had a great visit to the museum. We had a retired fire chief take us around and told us all about the fire service and Key West. Well worth the visit !
