  • Wonderful pier and great photo ops, we sat on one of the benches and had a picnic listening to the water and watching the planes land at the airport.Very relaxing place.  more »
  • We went for a stroll after dinner on the pier and enjoyed viewing the sea life. There was a nice breeze and a nice amount of people doing the same thing!  more »
  • Growing up in Key West, the pier was open for cars - and many fisherman would come on a Sunday and fish. Now it is no cars allowed but a lovely walk.  more »

  • Very nice place to watch sunrise. Plenty of FREE parking which was nice. Entire pier is handicap accessible from parking area. Area is clean of trash but yet while photographing sunrise noticed we weren't alone at far end of pier. For some reason there were many little white maggots crawling around mostly in or near concrete seams where it's wet or damp. Had to double & triple check camera bag, tripod, & other gear before leaving to ensure we didn't remove any wildlife.... One last thing - Enjoy watching the birds near/on pier but don't feed them. We didn't but could see if you would it could get ugly.
  • Cool pier to watch the sunrise or sunset. Also good for fishing. Plenty of free parking - which is a rare find for Key West!
  • We were at the dog park with our dog and walked across the street to watch the kite surfers then walk down the pier. Nice way to spend an evening with our dog.
  • Great views and some cool wildlife in the area but it dose smell at low tide
  • Went for the 4th of July Firework.. very good

Where to stay in Key West

To explore the best of what Key West has to offer on foot, stay near Old Town, a picturesque neighborhood famous for its streets lined with tropical trees and gardens. Most hotels in this area feature rooftop decks, where you can meet friends for cocktails and enjoy ocean views at sunset. If you don't mind driving to where most of the action is, consider staying at a budget-priced inn or bed and breakfast on the eastern end of the island.
