  • Went out with Ocean Divers on a boat with the whole family. Two of us dove and three snorkeled. The vis was a little poor due to the storms but overall a great shallow wreck that my Junior Open Water ...  more »

  • The Benwood is a shallow wreck but there really is not a lot to it - it is pretty torn up. As an experienced diver, I prefer the more intact Spiegel or the Duane -however, for newer divers this is pro...  more »

  • This cargo ship sunk after a collision with another ship (both running without lights to avoid German subs) during World War II. It was raked and flattened to avoid clogging shipping lanes, so it lies flat and opened up on the bottom about 30'-40' down, easy access for recreational diving and a nice wreck dive for those who aren't up to diving through dark, enclosed spaces. The wreck functions as an artificial reef so a lot of marine life has set up shop here. This probably isn't going to excite advanced divers but is a great way to break up a set of coral reef dives with something a little different.
  • Very easy to fine. There are anchoring buoys surrounding the wreck that makes it extremely convenient to hook up and get in.
  • Great, historic wreck. Hangout for turtles and parrotfish.
  • Wreck of a wreck in middle of sand means lots of marine life. Grouper, snappers, rays and eels are very common here.
  • Very coolshipwreck dive. Lots of great wildlife to see
