  • Relatively large shopping center from several buildings next to the pier for cruise liners. Everything-and clothes, and bags, and sports equipment for fishing and hunting. The prices are not low impact, lack of competition. In one of the buildings-souvenirs. There's all sorts of trinkets, socks and glasses for little money. But all the Chinese.

  • I started at Tongass as a seasonal from Washington state. They have a good college/high school summer worker situation with company housing. Great place to work and shop. Probably best in all of the alaskan cruise ports. The further north you go the higher the prices. This place had everything i needed.
  • Had the help to get what I needed.
  • A tad on the expensive side for anything there. I suggest window shopping and hopping on ebay. You will save hundreds.
  • Great service and good items to buy.
