  • Highly recommend this as a wedding venue. Cocktails and butlered hors d'oeuvres under the trees... the wedding under trees decorated with lanterns/candles. Photos under an amazing sunset. Then, dancin...  read more »
  • If you like sweet dull cider you shouldn't come here. If you like interesting, different, flavorful stuff that you sip and say wow this is wonderful, then come here. The Levity was our favorite. We ne...  read more »
  • This is a very small cidery and we were, unfortunately, not impressed. All of their ciders seemed to taste a little "off" to me, and my traveling companions did not care much for them either. We heard...  read more »
  • We had a fantastic time at Castle Hill's tasting room. George and Laura were beyond patient and displayed a thorough understanding of the cidering process and were able to explain the nuances of each cider in great detail. They offered reasonable prices for flights (insofar as I am accustomed when visiting wineries), and was blown away by the unique flavors, especially the Serendipty, Big Pippin, and the limited 1764 (similar to an ice wine). While I'm much better versed in "beer culture", this being my first experience at a cidery, I think I'll be getting more into ciders. The property itself was gorgeous.
  • My wife and I drove about a hour and a half to spend the day out here in the area. Since I am huge cider fan we decided to stop here on the way home. We were at the cider tasting room at 4:45 about 15 minutes before closing. We did notice there was a wedding about ready to start but from previous experiences at these types of places they usually leave the tasting room open till normal closing time...NOT here! We were very rudely ask to leave because the wedding was starting at five, and they had no time for a tasting. I am just saying if you are not going to operate to normal hours that are listed you should make that clear on a sign or website. Maybe I wasn't dressed fancy enough either. All I know is we won't be going back, I hope they make other people in the future more aware of these things.
  • Great ciders. I especially liked the 1764 which is really more of a liqueur and us available only in the premium tasting. The cheese selection was great and we loved the Red Row. The tasting server could have been a bit more informative but when she realized we were also there to buy, she became more friendly. They had a beautiful outdoor area with tables where we had a small picnic. They also had corn hole and bocci set up. They host weddings and were awarded best large menu. Very enjoyable
  • We also showed up towards the end of the day after a long drive to find them closing early for an event. Couldn't the events start at 5:15-5:30? Guess you have to call first to make sure they're not going to boot you early. We were definitely rushed out of there. Pretty disappointing.
  • Nice property. Great cider. We had the cheese plate and fresh bread. Highly recommended.
