  • Great place for little boys with its splash pas and lots of walking & biking trails adjacent to the Guadalupe River right across from downtown Kerrville.  more »
  • Great place to get a walk in, see some wildlife like deer, owls, ducks, squirrels and plenty of other birds. You can fish, or swim wade, and sometimes kayak and paddle board rentals are available  more »
  • This is a really nice park - playground for the kids, water feature for the kids (or anyone) and nice hiking path (concrete) that continues beyond the park a few miles either direction. My wife and I....  more »

  • I went canoeing down the river. There were bikes, kayaks, and canoes for rent (Cash Only) under the bridge. Stay to the left up stream to find a nice place to stop and rest. There is small section where the water falls over the rocks and creates a soothing sound. Bring an ice chest with the stuff you'd like to eat or drink, something to sit on, and SOMETHING FOR YOUR TRASH!
  • It's beautiful and sprawling with acres of land up and down the Guadalupe River. With kifs in mind, it has 2 great playgrounds. The splash pad is top notch, even with little LED lights under the water spouts to color the water. It has nature trails, a great walking/biking /skating track that leads all the way to the Riverside Nature Center.
  • I really enjoyed this park. It was very open, perfect spots to literary walk in an swim. I did see 3 snakes while I was there and thousands of turtles. I loved spotting all the turtles. It was me the hubby and my dog. It was the perfect spot for trying out canoeing for the first time. Which was rough with a dog that it was also her first time. The water was perfect a slight flow. Most of the time you can see the bottom. I think I only noticed like 2 pieces of trash. Which was also a plus the park was super clean. I did see some weird random men either sitting in a truck or outside just starring at people. I pay attention to my surroundings and if you do they are easy to spot and think danger. So just be sure to always keep your kids in sight and at reach. There were lots of kids and families at the kids play fountains. Restroom was clean too. It also had nice walking trails and a few ducks. I really enjoyed the park and would return I just like to try different ones.
  • This park is great the splash pad is open late and its like a water show the restroom is easily visible and its all located right off the river! There is a lot of parking and plenty of crosswalks! I definitely recommend a full day here to enjoy all it has to offer.
  • Attended a child's Birthday party. Everyone had a great time. Park looked well maintained. KUDOS to park workers!
