  • We had a great time. Wanted to do something different with kids besides the normal. They loved it. Also learned more about Kernersville.  more »

  • This historic home could keep you busy for an hour or so. The intricate tile floors are impressive. It also features the first home theater in America. Historic preservation is ongoing. A local gem in need of TLC.
  • So original! Nothing else like it. Since we don't have Chinqua Penn anymore. Highly recommend!
  • We had heard about this house and had a day off so we decided to visit and glad we did. Very interesting and it was so pretty, decorated for Christmas. There are a lot of steps but worth the climb, not all of the rooms have been restored yet but still worth the visit.
  • Lived close by for close work 10 years and never realized this was so cool. Excellent piece of history right in our backyard.
  • You can't tell from the outside how fascinating this house is on the inside! Amazing job by the preservation society, they certainly saved a rare gem with this house. The tour is self guided and flows nicely though all parts of the house. Would definitely stop again if we're in that part of NC in the future.
