  • From Italian, I found myself visiting VJB during a tour of Sonoma Valley, after reading many recommendations on the internet about the venue. I must say I was incredibly satisfied. The place is really nice, a charming hotel surrounded by lovely and sunny atmosphere of the campaign in California, specifically the beautiful Sonoma Valley celebrated in many Hollywood films (I later found out that a celebrity like VJB often stop Director Ron Howard and actor Ian Zering, one more reason to do a step hoping to meet them!). In front of the Club was recreated a square named Piazza Grande, reminiscent of some typical Italian villages, with tables and umbrellas, a great place to sit and have lunch on a sunny day (which even in January, California, fortunately abound). What I like most is that VJB manages to combine being an Italian-style activities – then with a focus on quality of raw material without compromise, as we have in Italy, and in fact the owners of VJB are Italian doc came to the United States many years ago – with a great deal of intelligence to innovate the Italian dishes and in proposing something innovative and different. Then, the recipes that appear in the menu are great and tasty for an Italian tourist who is spending around here, because you know they will not have to do with a trivial replication of what might get in Italy, but on the contrary, has the chance to taste mercy Ma of excellent quality that are really fresh and unexpected. Some examples? The legendary Avocado Flatbread, a pizza with fresh tomatoes, avocado, fresh mozzarella and olive oil. The dough is light but tasty, and the collection is really fresh and flavorful. Even the Burrata flatbread, a pizza with the legendary Italian Burrata that we love so much, together with basil, tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, is something to try. Then they also have a pizza with sausage and mozzarella that you will love the delicious taste, the taste and texture. Trust me, ask for seconds. By VJB I tasted even great barbecue pork ribs, Enrico's Ribs, and I highly recommend. Also great selection of wines that it offers, with local grapes or transplanted here from Italy. And finally, coffee is Illy coffees directly from Italy, Italian espresso then I won't take away anyone and is perfect to close a meal fit for a King.

  • This was a great experience! 5 stars for the atmosphere. The staff in the tasting room was amazing, the wines were delicious, and the food spread was great. We purchased the meat and cheese platters and they did not disappoint. The sommelier was super cool as well during the barrel tasting. Highly recommend this place.
  • This place gets five stars for atmosphere, with good wine and delicious food options (the pizza is amazing). You can order at the counter and they will bring it out to your table in the courtyard. It can be extremely busy during peak times so plan around that. It looses a star for service. Both times I’ve experienced bad service, which I’ve never had at other wineries.
  • Wonderful European deli and wood fired pizzaria to pair with the wine. It's was busy on Sunday but we had no problem with parking and finding a large table to accommodate 3 couples. Finish it off with a great selection of gelato and locally made chocolates. The property has been tailored to give it that Tuscan feel even when it's a brisk January afternoon.
  • Amazing experience, service, wine. Christine was Amazing. Like our own personal wine assistant. ❤
  • Excellent family owned winery with amazing Italian varietals. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. (thanks Mike!) Great on site restaurant as well for a quick afternoon bite in their gorgeous courtyard.
