  • The place is small and they run solely on donations but it's a fun 20 minute stop off if you're in town. The kids got a kick out of it and it was very informative.
  • This is a great place to take the kids! They have authentic fossils and the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. It's not very big, you can see the whole thing in less than an hour. But that is perfect if you have little ones. The T-Rex is a must see!
  • To see the skeletons of these massive creatures that once walked this earth, so up close, is amazing. It's only a single room, plus a downstairs for the kids and a gift shop to the side, but that one room has so much to see. Incredible.
  • Perhaps the biggest compliment a museum can receive is when a high school student says "it was cool"; this was the sentiment of my son. If you're looking for a heavy 6 hour walk-through this may not be what you're looking for; but the close-up look at dinosaur skeletons including good ole T-Rex was really moving (this coming from a Chitown adult who has been to their museums countless times) and the fact that its free, making exposure to paleontology a real possibility for all kids is absolutely impressive, and i was happy to support that endeavor with a few bucks in their donation jar. The downstairs includes a working lab run through Carthage College which was interesting for my high school son; he also enjoyed their video movies projected onto essentially a big screen tv which was fine and allowed all of us a brief look into the real world of paleontology.
  • This place is a bit of a waste of time if you ask me. It's 1 room with assembled skeletons. There's a few real Dino bones here but definitely not worth talking about. That's many other cool museums in Kenosha to check out.
