  • Debbie and Nick sell only the finest products and they provide wonderful suggestions for how to use the oils, vinegars and pasta. Since they opened I shop there regularly for my own kitchen and every time I need a wedding gift.
  • Lapin and I came here to replenish our stock of flavored oils and vinegar. Nick was the only person on staff and he was very nice and attentive. However, once the store started getting more busy, we were just kind of standing there waiting to check out (we waited around an additional 30 minutes). While, he was nice and we do like supporting local businesses, we had reservations and were coming close to miss it. The prices are decent, around $17.95 for "large" bottle of specialty oil/vinegar (roughly a "small" bottle at your local grocer) and $6.95 for specialty items like mustard/honey. On a side note, Nick was knowledgeable on why certain products were picked he wasn't knowledgeable on how they were produced, ingredients, etc.
  • Holy cow is there a bunch of Oil and Vinegar here. Lots of flavors and taste testing to boot. We ended up buying the Champagne and Strawberry Balsamic Vinegars and they are Awesome. The lady was very helpful and we anticipate buying more online. Thank you!
  • My wife and I came here on a food tour (Maine Foodie Tours), and were very impressed, so we came back to buy some balsamic. Wendy helped us, introducing us to some of her favorite balsamic-oil combos. She was amazing! She really knows her stuff. She was incredibly friendly and down to earth, and made us want to buy everything in the store, but not in a sales kind of way. The others working there were also awesome, and the place and products are awesome. Just go there. In case you're not sure exactly how this place works: they have rows of spouts with different balsamics in them. There are little cups to sample each one. Under each spout is a cabinet with bottles of the flavor above. Definitely ask about combos, I never would have bought walnut oil, but man does it go great with the right balsamic. They have other products, mostly (maybe all) from maine, we bought some amazing mustard and a blueberry whiskey syrup that might just be worth the hefty price tag (though we bought it as a gift). I'm pretty sure we were drunk on balsamic when we left there. It was awesome.
  • Beautiful store !!! My husband and I were delighted to be educated by Nick on how to use the products. Samples were delicious!! Store is handicapped accessible. Its a warm and welcoming store. Enjoy!!!
