  • We went as a group and had a lot of fun. Many restaurants and stores to shop at on the boardwalk. The rides looked fun and entertaining. Nice walk by the water.
  • We literally stumbled on this town and its boardwalk and couldn't have been happier. I accidentally booked a hotel here (expecting it to be in Galveston) and what a lucky find! It's actually cleaner a...  more »
  • Loved this area; just visited November 4th in the evening after arriving into the area. Very family friendly. I grew up in Iowa so it reminded me of when I went to small town carnivals with my family ...  more »

  • The vibe here is so good! Lots of rides for kids and adults too. Such a cute design. And I love the little train that passes through random spots (and has full functioning cross walks). And, the food was great! Make sure to go feed the catfish too. They are so cute!
  • This place is easy parking. This is a nice place to take a walk with the family.Dont forget your strollers. They sell alcoholic beverages which is nice but also expensive. $9 beer. I guess it's because they dont want you getting too tipsy. Dont buy a pass scope the place out first and then decide what you'll pay for you will save yourself money.
  • Great place to spend a day, evening, weekend or even week. Hotel on site and other lodging within walking distance. Excellent choices for dining in area to fit all budgets, amusement park for kids of all ages and multiple bar choices on pier as well.
  • A, if not 100%, 98% Landry's exclusive location, you have Saltgrass, Buba Gump Shrimp Co. and other Landry's staples including a buffet. It's fun to walk the boardwalk, you have some nice views of the sea, but don't be fooled by the carnival feeling, things are over priced and you can lose a pretty penny eating and drinking here.
  • Fun environment that offers something for everyone. They had a live band as well. But if your looking for a good dining experience DO NOT go to Bubba Gumps. It was HORRIBLE! We were there for my Dads bday. Waited 2 hours to sit together after they told us it was an hour an a half wait. We were then seated at 2 different tables (16 people). The manager proceeded to tell me to expect 2 tables for a large group even when other groups the same. Size were together. She was rude and unhelpful.
