  • Great family friendly environment with a lot of eating choices around. The rides were a little expensive, but that is to be expected from a Boardwalk. We ate at the Aquarium restaurant and had a great meal. Staff was great. The place was empty at 6:00 on a Tuesday evening. The kids loved to walk around and see all the aquariums. They had moved some of their best fish out to other restaurants or the "fish hospital" according to one of the waitresses, but it didn't make that much of a difference.
  • A cool spot. Booze is a little pricey. Amusement park rides and carnival eats. The kiddos enjoyed feeding the stingrays. Lot's of dine in restaurants and some shopping. Live music. Some great places on the outskirts like monkey bar and t-bone Tom's
  • Nice environment and setting, rides for the kids and adults, lots of restaurants. They have different events and an open area for bands and such. Mix of carnival and small shops. Tourist attraction all the way though; everything is expensive, parking can be a nightmare on busy weekends. You aren't getting out of here cheap unless you're just doing some walking. Nice candy shop, ice cream and smaller pizza place overlooking the plaza are worth a stop. Also some good shopping in the surrounding streets. Avoid the 'arcade'; a few scattered old games and mostly just coin eating 'crane' machines with a grip weaker than a newborn baby. Free parking in the lots but if it's busy you'll probably end up in the garage, which accepts cash and cards.
  • Terrific place for family and couples fun, right on the water with amazing views and great atmosphere. Prices are expensive, but it is an amusement park, so it is somewhat expected. Plan ahead for that. Surrounding area is full of great bars and restaurants, galleries and shops. There is plenty of food and snacks on the Boardwalk, and it gets crowded during the summer, especially on weekends. Dress comfortably and casual, and prepare to have a great time. Highly recommended.
  • So much fun! I moved here from Florida and was really missing this! Lots to do, live music for free. Food is a little expensive but it's a fun day out! I went on Mother's Day and it was SUPER crowded and yet very pleasant. People are very nice. Fun for all ages. Went with kids and they had a blast. Take a "getting wet" outfit for the kids. Free play areas and shooting water areas.
