  • This place is worth any stop along the river road between Minneapolis and La Crosse - you won't be able to contain yourself looking not only at all the toys they have for sale - but also the old toys ...  more »
  • We have traveled this road for years and Lark Toys has always been a "bathroom break" stop when my three boys were growing up as we traveled between Red Wing and La Crosse. We would always marvel over...  more »
  • We had some free time while we were staying in a nearby town & decided to stop in here. It was a cute place. Lots of toys the kids are allowed to play with & a few different types of shops inside. The...  more »
  • I've been coming here since it was just a tiny work shop. Fascinating, clever whimsical carvings delight the curious eye. Commercial additions are not my thing, but have clearly been added with the curious person in mind. It is very well thought out.
  • Often take out-of-state company here to experience the toys from the past and the hand-carved carousel ($2.00 pp) Food like hot dogs and drinks available. They also have ice cream and fudge for sale. Almost any toy you can think of is available in the store and the best book selection anywhere these days. Must try the outdoor miniature golf next time.
  • What a fun experience! The carousel is gorgeous. I love that Lark Toys is part museum, part toy store, and part toy craft shop! There is so much to see and do. The ice cream is delicious. I definitely recommend a visit!
  • Amazing handmade wooden toys, multiple themed rooms featuring various genres of toys, a fantastic selection of books, mini-golf, real live alpacas, and a fun "museum" of toys from past decades. There's also an over-the-top candy shop, fudge, and ice cream! The cherry on top is the beautiful, hand-carved carousel. My daughter would've ridden it all day long, choosing a different beautiful, intricately carved animal each time.
  • Be careful if using older gps, it's just off 61.. not down a crazy dirt road. Really fun and interesting for adults and kids
