  • We did the rent a camp a few years ago since we aren't outfitted with camping gear. It was completely infested with earwigs. They were literally crawling all over us all night. Otherwise nice place to visit for some peace and quiet.
  • Kelley's Island is may favorite place to go. Parks and trails are very quiet and lead to a variety a views/terrains (ex. rock quarry, abandoned train station, well established forest, dry swamp area, open fields, abandoned house, sand beach) One of the trails has a bird watching tower.
  • Place is awesome. Went mid September. People leave you alone, the camping is right on the water. Hell, it even rained all day Saturday and we still had a great time. Minus the $175 boat ride over the family, truck and trailer, it wasn't expensive either. Will go back for sure.
  • A beautiful location in Lake Erie, highly recommend
  • Great park but customer service was less than satisfying. Maintenence staff mowed the grass in the camping areas before 9 AM. During our stay the bathroom ran out of toilet paper in all stalls of our nearest bathroom for 24 hrs. Campsites could have used more trees in general. Otherwise, the island was wonderful.
