Koa did a fantastic job showing us the beautiful Napali coast! Would highly recommend this private charter vs. taking a small raft that is loaded with tourists. We felt very safe even when he backed up into waterfalls, caves, and navigated the high surf. We saw many pods of dolphins up close, snorkeled with sea turtles and other beautiful fish. Koa even went the extra mile by jumping into the ocean to retrieve a cell phone that was accidentally knocked out of the boat and he miraculously got it after free diving 30 feet below. The best part is the phone still works!!! He was very friendly, told great Hawaiian stories/legends and played awesome music! This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip and we would do it again and again!

Komohana Charters is amazing! This boat tour was the highlight of our trip! It’s definitely not like most boat tours that are filled to the brim with people. It’s an intimate tour that let’s you experience the Na Pali coastline up close and personal.The captain Koa is very accommodating, very knowledgeable about kauai history, and an overall super cool guy! He took us into multiple caves and we saw hundreds of dolphins. I highly recommend this company!

If there’s one thing you NEED to do on Kaua’i , it’s visit the Na Pali coast with Komohana Charters. Family owned and operated, they really make you feel at home the moment you book your tour. They personally answered all the emails of questions I had about the tour, island recommendations and other island tips that no other company would take the time to do! The boat is spotless and just the right size to fit in the caves. I’ve taken almost all Of the other boat tours for the Napali coast and its pretty much all the basic same routine- They herd you to the boat, you’re with a bunch of strangers, someone is always locked in the bathroom puking and with the bigger boats you are only able to glide by the caves and watch from the outside. Komohana Charters allows you to get IN the caves/waterfalls & experience the true essence of the Na Pali coast With your closest family & friends. Intimate and one- of -kind. If you want a basic tour, go with the other guys.. If you want make your own waves, Komohana Charters HANDS DOWN!!!
