  • Good historical site along the oregon trail. Helpful staff.
  • If you take the time to get off of Interstate 80, Nebraska and the Platte River Valley in particular are such wonderful places. I was heading to Indiana from Utah and needed a break. I knew that there was a bicycle bridge across the Platte River here, so I stopped and rode. Even though it was December, it was very pleasant. This is an underdeveloped park. It's not fancy but it's clean and pleasant in a humble sort of way. I really enjoyed it.
  • I loved the openness as well as the historical structures, speakers, and the video that was shown up front!
  • Nice place to camp. They have an area that the Scouts can reserve and hold private camps.
  • Friendly voulenteer staff. Gorgeous grounds. Bird feeders, park tables and benches, historical.
