  • Unfortunately for us it was raining and the view was obscured. But one short break in the clouds provided us with a spectacular view. Definately go on a day when its sunny and enjoy the winding drive ...  read more »
  • It is a stunning view, the ocean, the mountain and the valley all in one place. We wish we had lunch there, but we had only a few hours to explore the whole park.
  • A piece of the road to be travelled, but the road is really picturesque and time passes by really fast. On the site we will meet a beautiful view to the coast on the Smoke. The towering, vegetated mountain incorporated directly into the ocean, the view is stunning.

  • Easy to get to. Easy walk out to lookout. Handicap parking. Handicap pathway and restrooms. Few picnic tables, but no shade. Amazing view. Would be great if the viewpoint was more upkept so the view of the ravine would not be impeded by foliage. Hope for a clear, sunny day since it rains often. Worth the stop.
  • Stay behind the railings and you will get an amazing view. If you decide to take the little trail that you occasionally see silly people do: Kauai police today identified a 43-year-old man found dead about two weeks ago in Kalalau Valley as ________________________. xcccc died of blunt force trauma consistent with falling off a cliff, police said. Foul play is not suspected. The morning of June 11, lifeguards responded to a report of a body and found Rollnick’s body along a remote portion of the rocky shoreline near Kalalau Beach.
  • Amazing views of the Na Pali coast. If it's cloudy, wait 10 minutes and it's bound to clear up enough for some great pictures.
  • The views here are fantastic! The drive up was fun with additional stopping points along the way with views of Waimea Canyon and Waipo'o Falls.
  • Awesome view into the Canyon. If cloudy, wait for the clouds to move on, the weather conditions change rather quickly here. After some rain you can see waterfalls in the distance, if the view is clear.
