  • Mary Jo Peckham is good for kids of all ages. They have fishing, playgrounds, and a mini golf course. Our kiddos love to spend a nice afternoon there.
  • Such a lovel6 spot. My husband and I take walks here several times a week. My favorite is the baby ducks waddling all over. It's a great spot for a picnic
  • Nice, clean and fun for all ages. Great spot to walk around, let the kids enjoy the playground, or even just cast your fishing rod and sit underneath a tree. But beware of there oversized birds. One s...  read more »
  • Ridiculously complicated to swim in the indoor pool. Limited open swim hours for families. Must call to make "reservation" to swim during hours they're supposed to be open to the public anyway, which the last I checked was 1.5 hours a couple of days a week (really???). It's like the really don't want people there at all. Pool is divided into so many sections - each with their own specialized, nonsensical rules. Example: All the lap lanes were free except one in which an older woman was doing walking exercises back and forth. Took my daughter into one lane with me to work with her on a freestyle swim (the other sections of the pool were too deep or too shallow and awkwardly designed for this), but we were told to get out of the lane because they're only for "swimming laps." Had I been allowed to continue, she would have been swimming laps...Meanwhile the older woman continued her little walk bounces and no one ever came to swim in all the other vacant, open lanes. The Aquatic Center is the Twilight Zone with all of it's weird little policies and limited availability.
  • Almost great. The facility is a little old, needs updating. The employees are a little young, need customer service training. Other than that it's pretty good. Nice to have this place available to the residents.
  • Hidden gem Park. Nice swimming public pool. Decent play area for kids. On your left when you are entering into the park, there is great play area for kids. The lake inside the park has nice atmosphere.
  • This place is so awesome. The pool and exercise room are so awesome. The kids love miniature golf and a playground. There are basketball areas and a great place to jog around the ponds. I can't recommend it enough. Its also free for Harris county residents. Try it. Please be sure to sign- in because funding can be list if it's not used. Especially wonderful for people who have time during the day. Just live this place.
  • Went here for the first time with family. The park is nice, well maintained, with lots of amenities. There's a gravel and paved running/walking path, gazebos, picnic tables, playgrounds, and bathrooms with water fountains. You can fish as well.
