  • We spent three days, two nights at Brooks Lodge and made the excursion to the Valley of 10,000 fumaroles. Reserve your place for the month of July has become the first working day of January of the previous year, with more than a year and a half in advance, but is worth, is an absolutely amazing experience. The trip from Anchorage itself is a wonder. First flight in a twin of two hours and a half, followed by a wonderful flight by seaplane. Upon landing you go to the talk of safety with the park rangers and awarded to your cabin. They are very basic accommodation of wood with four beds in two bunk beds, toilet, shower and sink. They have heating and blankets, both very necessary things. The dining room has two choices of menu and complete one another only Starter hot soups and salad buffet. The quality and price are correct, without more. You have your menu with unlimited coffee and tea. There is an area with a very popular fireplace mostly to the evening. The visit there are two footbridges, in the first, there is never a queue and for the second, if it is very full, alert you when you take an hour. This can be a problem for those who only do a day visit, but if you stay there and taking into account that in July there is plenty of light and just done at night, your chances are wonderful, you can spend hours there without any problems except a couple of hours in the day, coindiciendo with visits of roundtrip. It is really a spectacle of wildlife, bears everywhere frantically devouring salmon, but also other fauna, many birds, especially Eagles. Actually a visit to remember forever.
