  • The beach is kind of small and not as nice looking as others on west Maui. Mainly a beach for lots of young people, locals, and for watching the surfers.
  • This beach was voted one of America's best at one point and I can see why. It is a big full beach with lots of room for families to spread out. It offers great waves for boggie boarding and is great f...  more »

  • Really nice, secluded area with plenty of parking and awesome facilities. Nice protected inlet and lifeguards on duty. Would definitely recommend!
  • Very nice beach. Very popular tourist spot. Make sure you go to the ends if you want to have a space to sit. If you go early don't sit right by the lifeguard tower it will get busy here.
  • Not crowded (mind you, it was fairly windy when I was there) but really it's far enough away from hotels and foot traffic that you feel like you've escaped a bit. Great stop before or after Nakahele blowhole.
  • An absolutely clear, pristine ocean view, with plenty of beach to go around. If you're staying on the property at Kapalua, be sure to take the shuttle to the beach, so you don't have to worry about parking or finding the beach
  • Great beach. Lots of shade, sand and grass. Had fun body surfing on the waves. The snorkeling is good if you inter the water and swim off to the right. There is a coral reef with lots of fish and turtles. My favorite beach on Maui.
