  • This is one of the places you get to see big waves as the crash in. I would absolutely recommend checking it out on the way back from the road to Hana!
  • We stayed at Napili Bay which was perfect for the little kids with regards to gentle waves, but the older kids (and adults!) wanted more adventure so we headed to this beach to play in the surf. This ...  read more »
  • My wife and I were looking for a place to snorkel but ended up here at D.T. Instead playing in the waves. Nice place to rinse off and changing area when your done. Worth the stop
  • An absolutely clear, pristine ocean view, with plenty of beach to go around. If you're staying on the property at Kapalua, be sure to take the shuttle to the beach, so you don't have to worry about parking or finding the beach
  • Not crowded (mind you, it was fairly windy when I was there) but really it's far enough away from hotels and foot traffic that you feel like you've escaped a bit. Great stop before or after Nakahele blowhole.
  • Great beach. Lots of shade, sand and grass. Had fun body surfing on the waves. The snorkeling is good if you inter the water and swim off to the right. There is a coral reef with lots of fish and turtles. My favorite beach on Maui.
  • Very nice beach. Very popular tourist spot. Make sure you go to the ends if you want to have a space to sit. If you go early don't sit right by the lifeguard tower it will get busy here.
  • Great wave jumping! Rougher surf, generally, has showe, bbq, facilities.
