  • The place is in the back of a strip mall; no one was there the day we visited so parking was available. There is space at the bar for around 6 people to do a tasting. You can do their Mead tasting for...  more »
  • Ate at Taco Bell and saw the sign so we decided to try the mead tasting. Lots of different flavors however most had a slight bitter taste. I think they were trying to mimic dry or semi-sweet wines usi...  more »
  • Difficult to park. The parking was tough, I am a dry wine person so the mead made with local honey was difficult to drink and as true in Hawaii a little expensive. The building is old. A pleasant lear...  more »

  • Completely delicious. Impressive and complex flavors, no 2 meads tasted the same. It's not the sugary syrup-like mead you get in the mainland states. Very easy to talk to and knowledgeable staff/server. I'm so glad my husband and I stopped here!
  • I think I like mead more than wine, or this is just really good mead, or maybe both. Either way, check this place out. 8 dollars to try all 6 varieties, pretty good deal. I am not sure what the 1 star reviewer is talking about, whatever it is it is no longer relevant.
  • Stopped in to try it. The place was so hot and the worker was so rude and judgy. The product wasn't bad but we felt unwanted with the attitude. Very negative about Kauai workers.
  • As seen on Drinking Made Easy! Only Zane gets the Elixir....But you can get lots of tasty drinks here! Laka's Nectar is super great. Must visit!
  • My wife and I had never had mead before so we stopped by while on our honeymoon last week. Everyone I had asked about it before had said mead was too sweet for them but I actually found most of them fairly dry which I liked. A couple at the end were sweet - the chocolate one and the Deviant Beehavior, but that one was spicy too which we liked. Cool to know they own their own beehives to get the honey as well. We ended up buying a couple bottles to take back to AZ. Everyone was really nice and informative. Glad we stopped by!
