Lydgate Farms Hawaiian Chocolate, Kapaa

Wonderful tour! Everyone was super friendly. There was a lot of detailed interesting information given about the fruit and the chocolate they grow. The taste testing of the fruit and chocolate were both delicious. I tasted fruits I had never even heard of before! We also got a in depth talk about the history of chocolate while doing the tasting that I found fascinating. I would highly recommend this tour while on Kauai 👍

Amazing experience with fantastic hosts! Beautiful gardens, great fresh fruit, and CHOCOLATE! (Basically all you can eat!) Direct from the tree or prepared you get the full range with stories and a smile. Highly recommend.

Attention all chocoholics! This place is our utopia! Lydgate farms is tucked way back at the end of a dirt road, after driving through a secluded neighborhood. Just when you're thinking that you're lost, you come upon a lush forest like place. It's just beautiful there. Our guides told us some of what we were going to see (there was so much more). We got to see vanilla pods on trees, exotic fruits, and other fruits perhaps only found in tropical places. Then we saw cocoa pods growing. Our guide, Andrea, hacked one open, and we saw the fruit and the cocoa seeds. Of course, the best part was the chocolate tasting & the history of chocolate making. Great for anyone who loves chocolate - at any age!

Andrea was fantastic. Great guide with loads of knowledge and funny as well! We went as a family and we all enjoyed the tour very much. All the different fruits we got to try and tasting enough chocolate to make you satisfied for weeks! We purchased some Cacao nibs, Cacao tea and vanilla bean. Highly recommended 👍

This place is pure awesome sauce. Tasty chocolate and a bunch of fresh off the tree fruit. We learned a lot about chocolate and had a great time with our tour guide.
