  • This marketplace has been under construction for way too long and the existing business must be feeling the strain. We didn't see too many customers wandering thru in the two hours we shopped. The newly remodeled areas look great and this will be a nice destination when it completes. This review is for the marketplace itself, NOT the stores inside it.
  • It will be a 5 star when completed next year. Love the shops open now. Resort attire, gift items, souvenirs, basic toiletries, coffee.etc. Very nice people working in all the shops.
  • I live 2 miles away and I run 6 times a week. My favorite time is when the farmers market is set up on my way vack (8mile) I stopi and buy a coconut and Apple bananas. Nice shopping and good food.....
  • This is a review of the ABC store in the Coconut Marketplace - not yet listed but it opened in May 2016. ABC stores are well known to visitors to Hawaii and, like most tourists, I’d make a stop there for things like macadamias and beer. Yes, they can be significantly more expensive than other markets – for example, on this visit a 5 oz. bag of Boulder Canyon chips was $5.69, and a 6-pack of Kona beer was $11. But the selection is decent for the size of the store and the staff members are usually friendly. However, for environmental responsibility I’m giving ABC 1/5 green stars because I was horrified to see that they had coffee for sale in Styrofoam cups. Yep, Styrofoam, as in expanded polystyrene, the kind of plastic that’s non-recyclable, and fly-away light… just waiting to find its destination in the ocean 100 yards away. ABC: please replace your cups – I know paper cups are not ideal either (lined with plastic), but they are a lot better than polystyrene. Considering the huge garbage problem in the Pacific Ocean and on Hawaiian beaches (like Kamilo) I would have thought ABC would have more respect for the ocean.
  • Seems like this place is about to close down all together a lot of the shops were not there and most of them are closed if they were seems pretty run-down but they did have nice bathroom
