  • Very interesting especially for those who have been traveling for some time. A great history lesson.
  • For anyone with an interest in aviation, this is a must-see attraction. Volunteers are always available to recount the history of Trans World Airlines throughout its storied history.
  • The TWA Museum is a real gem and added to the wide range of museums I tend to visit. Located at Kansas City Downtown Airport in part of the building from which TWA used to be based the museum contains...  more »

  • Amazing history, most of the people even worked for TWA! History form the people them self!
  • An okay little museum that seems to be maintained by the former employees of TWA in the back room of a building that used to house TWA's offices. It's got a good variety of displays there of various artifacts and models. That being said, they've got no actual aircraft on display, and they actually expect you to pay admission to see their two rooms of exhibits. I think that it would be in their best interest to merge with the Airlines Museum on the other side of the airport, as they actually have some TWA aircraft in great condition, but not that much airline memorabilia.
  • This is a fun museum for all ages. The staff here is knowledgeable and visitor friendly.
  • Fun, honest museum.
  • Great little museum with history of the airline. While I was there I was lucky enough to see one of the early planes that was flown by TWA, a Lockheed Electra
