  • Has a lot of different sea creatures / fish in the Aquarium. Have been multiple times and it seems like they always have new sea creatures / fish in the aquarium.
  • It was nice, clean, and fun for kids. Not as much to see as I expected being in Kansas City. Only took 30-45 minutes to wak through
  • It is clean and well cared for, but the price is over the top. You can touch some of the tide pool creatures and the staff does talk about the animals at different times of the day, but they could be ...  read more »
  • We enjoyed the aquarium. It was a little small, especially for how much they charge you. It is also frustrating that they do not allow you to exit and re-enter the same day without paying for another admission. I enjoyed the large tanks that allowed you to really view all the different sea life. My 4-year-olds enjoyed it, but my 12 year old became bored pretty quick.
  • Expect about $19 per adult after taxes if tickets bought online. They try to control crowding by limiting the number of guests at once. This is a cool place to bring kids. The only ones who would complain are adults who might feel a bit crowded or who have been to larger, more adult-oriented aquariums around the country. I added about a dozen photos do have a look through those. Everything seems good quality. There is a nearby parking garage which is free on the weekend. Crown Center, nearby, offers food and shopping either before or after your aquarium experience.
  • This small aquarium is perfect for young children. It has a imaginative layout, but there are a couple bottlenecks where it can get crowded on a busy day. We prefer early morning visits on weekdays, and we save money on tickets using our KC zoo pass.
  • My 2 year old loved it. It was slow when we went, but it was a great experience and while a little pricey, definitly worth the money and it goes to a good organization.
  • We took four children ages 7 through 12. They all loved it. We plan to return but I can't give it 5 stars because of the cramped quarters. The passages are narrow and many of the viewing areas are small. It was not a busy day but it was elbow to elbow in most spots. Having a wheelchair with us was diffiuclt. It was nearly impossible to manuver and there are several slopes along the hallways that cannot be seen because of the low light levels which became dangerous for the person in the wheelchair. Just be careful in wheelchairs or walking with a cane and you should enjoy the shoe.
