  • I had a yearly pass to Coco Key, went today and was informed that they got rid of the 'Palm Grotto' which was the adults-only hot tub / spa. He said they took it out to expand some water slides. Which is great for the kids but the only reason I went to Coco Key was to sit in the hot tub and drink margaritas. Very disappointed. Also they still have Palm Grotto listed on their website (under 'Activities and Slides') so just a heads up, it's gone. To me the water at the lazy river, water slides, etc is very cold. You will need to bring your own towels if you just have a day pass (not staying at the hotel). The place is noisy and usually packed with kids. If you take kids they will probably have a good time, most of the kids there are age 5-12. Older tweens/teenagers will probably be bored.
  • The water park is nice and my kids (11, 9,8, 3) had a blast swimming. The beds are awful, like laying on plywood and the Moore & Moore BBQ was the safest excuse for a restaurant we'd ever been to. The wait staff was non existing, the burgers were like burnt cardboard and the burnt ends are what could only be explained as canned dog food... and the prices were ridiculous. I would return for the arcade and swim park, but would never stay here again. Such a disappointment in the quality.
  • This place is pretty nice, I loved the water park area. The only reason, why I didn't give it 5 stars, is because of the staff. They messed around a lot. Otherwise, I recommend this place. The rooms are nice and tidy. Love it! Will be coming back in the future!!
  • Went for the water resort. For the entry the park is worth it. A little small but what can you expect from an off season indoor resort. Upon our visit the bar was not open and they ran out of towels. Spoke with the manager Gina who was very nice and apologetic for the issues and offered us another set of passes for our family to try again. It has great potential and hopefully the next time we come it won't have as many issues.
  • The Adam Mark hotel ( coco key hotel)was very crappy. The toilet ran all night and the room we were in was very hot. So hot that the infant in our room couldn't sleep. When we asked for a fan they said they didn't have any yet the people across from us got one. The t.v was also not working correctly and they tried charging us 70 dollars for 4 people for an hour of swimming. The phone in our room didn't work. We met a guy who found animal feces in his room. And they moved him to a different room at 11pm which the t.v didn't work in there. Even thought the hotel room was very bad the swimming area was pretty cool
