  • Bart was amazing!!! Super fun, super cool, not your typical brew tour. If you can get him do it. Fun, outgoing and lots of jokes. The more you interact with him the more fun he gets. I'd recommend this tour 100%. Thanks again Bart
  • Totally unsure what a free tour of a brewery would be like. We walked in and we're greeted immediately with a smiling face. We were interested in a tour of the brewery in which were informed right away that there will be one in about 10 mins and feel free to look around. In the rec center there is a lot of information on Boulevard to read through even a stocked up gift center with thousands of souvenirs such as hats, shirts, bottle openers, even mix and match six pack of beer. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic about the tour and very knowledgeable about the brewery. We were first walked down to the old bar where we were informed of the Boulevard history while enjoying one of their popular brews. After the brew, we were walked through the brewery and informed on the process of their brewery, if you are one who knows nothing brewing this is one for you. The entire tour takes 45 mins to one hour ending in the beer hall where you can turn in your tour badge for two samples of any Boulevard brew of your choice. My wife doesn't drink beer so I had 4! Overall experience was awesome! I would go there over and over again if the wife would let me!
  • Great brewery with tremendous philanthropic ties to our greater KCMO. They donate to local events and non profits with such sheer gusto that many other companies lack. As a local non profit we are so grateful to their yearly donation to SeedSavers-KC Seed Exchange. Thank you so much Boulevard Brewery Company!!
  • My first visit to any brewing company. Wasn't at all disappointed. Tours are free, just have to be there at the right time to collect the tickets. Staff is really friendly. Walked us step by step through whole process. Have amazing beers to taste at the end of the tour.
  • Having been on our fair share of free brewery tours, I probably wouldn't have bothered if we couldn't get in on one of the specialty tours. Unfiltered was my first choice, but given our travel schedule over the holidays, our only option was the Smokestack Tour. It was definitely the most informative tour I've done thanks to guides Dane and Haley. We started off with a glass of Tank 7 as our "walking beer" and ended with a flight of four other Smokestack series beers with food pairing samples. Afterwards, they opened up the bar for tastings of whatever we liked. Definitely recommended for beer aficianodos!
